Unintentional not send in the log is the most tragic event for a
serious contester.
On ARRL SSB 2012, we participated as M/S team from PW7T. I was sure
that I sent the log (we claimed 3rd place SA), but our callsign didn't
show on results. I asked Sean about our log, and He said none log was
received from us.
That was weird. So, I search my sent email and surprise surprise! Log
was there as DRAFT MESSAGE. For unknown reason, the mail wasn't sent,
but archived. What a shame on me when I try to explain that to my team
peers!
As a contester, learning is my life!
Now, at PW7T what ever contest we participate, first task when time is
up is sync all logs across computers, export cabrillo and send in the
log. So, under 20min we have all done and we feel that contest really
ended.
My advice is: send in your log as soon as you put the last station into log.
