Hans,
Then it is quite logical that if call or exchange info in one of these two
logs is incorrect, then both stations are penelized in one way or
another.Right now, if you and I are in the contest QSO and you got my
exchange incorrectly, what incentive there is for me to spend time to
correct you? On the other hand, how can I be sure that you put my exchange
correctly into your log? Or how can you be sure that I have sent my exchange
correctly? The only way to adjudicate this situation is to listen to SDR
recording where both sides of the QSO are readable.

There seems to be some resistance to the notion that a contest is test of
a Radiomans skill in finding and contacting other stations with a radio,
then correctly exchanging information over the air and accurately
transcribing that information into a log.

Hi,
One respected contester is asserting the rules for WW mean we can use the
Internet, real-time, to verify exchange information.
Does anyone else see that as being prohibited by this rule?
8. All requests for contacts, responses to calls, and copying of call
signs
and contest exchanges must be accomplished during the contest period
using
the mode and frequencies of the contest.
