Excellent, that was a really nice comic response, so I think I should carry 
this forward.  I hope it can promote additional comic responses to raise the 
enjoyment of all here!  The N/A Sprint uses U.S. States and countries as 
multipliers.  It somehow seems to me that the sponsors are coddling VE9's a 
little heavily by not counting Canada as a single country, the way they do with 
Mexico!  Don't you think it would encourage more states in Mexico to be 
represented in the NA Sprint if each were separate multipliers? And why doesn't 
St. Thomas Island count as a different multiplier from St. Croix? It doesn't 
make sense the way these guys are doing this! Why, they're passing out special 
advantages as rare multipliers to Canadians and discriminating against so many 
others!

Once again, I truly don't give a hoot about this subject, and I don't want 
anyone taking these statements as my personal opinions.  What I really want is 
for all DX contests everywhere to substitute the distance between contacts in 
place of the QSO points.  It's unfair that a station in LU Argentina gets the 
same number of QSO points for a US contact as a station in 9Y.
