I recently bought one of these but have not used it, yet, with my K3.
Note this is an electret element so you need to supply DC bias. Not a
problem with a K3.

Bose headsets (they look like the Bose QC-15 which I have) with a boom mic
attached. KL9A was one.
Does anyone know what that boom mic was?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not suddenly becoming a phone man but I would love
to have one headset that I can use for both modes for when I do get on.
