Being partial to the VE1/9 area, there were some records set here this year
for "us little guys" too !
I set 6 records from 2010-2013, so this was not my year *(as I did the
CLASSIC overlay thing) but I would like to highlight my contesting
neighbours and who all happen to be members of
the Maritime Contest Club (MCC)
In 2014:
Multi-Operator

failures due to icing, but QRV anyways!
Single Operator - Low Power
Low 40M VE1RGB* 2014 219,420 (Gary in NS).all wires and single elements,
100w !
Single Operator Assisted - Low
Low ALL VE9OA 2014 232,990 (Bill near Harvey, NB) Wires and quad.
*Our thoughts and prayers go out to VE1RGB who is battling a serious
illness. We sure miss hearing you on the air Gary.
