Southern Nova Scotia, I think.

At one of the big remote stations in far eastern Maine, the signal is audible 
with QSB, but seemed less crisp than what I can hear on a dipole in CT.   With 
QSB, it was hard to find a peak bearing -- somewhere between 90 and 210 -- but 
it was weak-to-almost inaudible as I spun through 315-330.

Wasn't there a problem with and experimental Canadian Forces OTH radar 
intruding on 160m a few years ago, from someplace near Halifax?   This intruder 
doesn't sound like OTH -- it's a commercial/military data mode -- but if the 
station intruded once...

It's in the vicinity of Maine, southeastern VE2, VE9, VE1, VY2 ...

Need some local reports from these areas.
