I use two split keyboards, one in front of the other (I have a rather deep
motorized stand/sit desk).
This works ergonomically. I describe this set-up in an up-coming NCJ
article.
The split avoids the twisting action of the wrist.
Putting the keyboards one in front of the other avoids the twisting action
of the waist.
Yes, I have to reach over the first to get to the second, but that doesn't
bother me.
In 2BSIQ, I just get a rhythm of going back and forth between the keyboards.
The standing desk is also highly recommended.
When doing SO1R, I've even tried jogging while running stations!
