I made no comment that disagreed with your points.

I would only say that it's permissible to edit previous contacts if done *during* the contest based on allowable information (i.e. guessing). But do it at your own risk.

In any case, there may be good reasons for different powers on different bands. SWR problems, RFI issues, different amps, whatever.


Besides, I thought we were always supposed to copy what was sent. When did this advice change?

I *corrected* a couple, and later thought better of that strategy. Under
the circumstances, I don't see how the log checkers can be overly picky
about that.
