I thought that the cards had to be signed or stamped or in some way indicated
that a human being had reviewed and approved the card prior to it being sent.
That's the problem with eCards of any sort. Especially moreso today than ever,
any middle school or younger can use a free, powerful graphics editor and
change the details on the card to make it out to any call, on any band or mode,
at any time. It's the signature or stamp of the operator or the QSL manager
that makes it valid, as that can't easily be changed.
You want to use your eCard for certain awards, like the ARRL sponsored ones?
Print it out and get the op or the manager to sign it, after confirming the
details in the log, of course.

When I first got Licensed (1975) these E mailed QSL's wouldn't be worth
the ink they could be printed with.
I remember a QSL card MUST have the cancelled postmark on it! if it was
mailed in an envelope you had to keep the envelope. So the checker could
see the postmark.
But at the same time while I remember that. Then what about the cards
that came via the Buro?
no Postmarks on them.
Huh?
