This discussion about the future reminded me of a piece I wrote back in 1993 <https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/az2n7qtgr1ll21dcg9rxy/Reflections-on-the-2005-CQWWW-Contest.pdf?rlkey=9n02x4b4b8v8235hc2fkjfz0u&st=6fbusa61&dl=0> . I thought that contests conducted by radio transmission would have gone extinct by 2005, but here we are in 2025, still dancing with the ionosphere. Anyway, while we are thinking about the future, maybe this will be entertaining. 73, Doug K1DG _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
