There are several contests scheduled every weekend. Not all are major
contests, but many countries have their worldwide DX contests. There are
also 48 State QSO Parties scattered throughout the year. Outside the major
contests, you have to hone your S&P skills and knowledge of propagation.

I administer the Florida Contest Group's Frequent Contester Awards Program
(FCAP) and we have 183 approved contests for 2025. These do not include the
less than 4 hour weekly activities during the week. They are major
contests, DX world-wide contests, and State QSO Parties. Many of our
members participate in over 100 contests per year.

They should be enough to keep any contester busy.
