Jim,

I concur. In the Florida QSO Party, I could stay home and boom out with
1,500 watts, but instead, I get in my Winnebago Travato van conversion and
operate from the more rare states. I usually operate concurrently as a POTA
station in a state park. I have also traveled to NC, SC, GA and AL to
activate POTA sites during those state QSO parties. The pileups are small,
but I am making others happy with rare counties. The combination of POTA
with state QSO parties is great.
