You need to load a DOS MOUSE driver in your AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS
(usual name is MOUSE.SYS).  The mouse driver is built into Windows, but is
NOT built into DOS.  The driver should have come on a floppy with your mouse.
