Ken ? Anyone else help?
Well 9.46 still has the same problem for me that all the others 9.37-
9.46 have.....
2 station setup both computers runnning in dos mode....#1 has only
DOS in it....and #2 has WIN -3.1 but it is NOT loaded..machine
comes up in dos first...
#1 486/33 with internal DRSI packet board Icom765
#2 486/100 connected via null modem cable Icom765
All functions work flawlessly in 9.27 packet radio control logging.
changing to any of the newer versions....and two problems develop
both coming from station #1 the 486/33
#1 problem....it won't key the rig.....as soon as you hit any key that
should send CW it puts the rig into keydown mode....no its not RF at
the 8 watt level.....also it works fine as soon as I put 9.27 back in it.
#2 problem....station #2 can't send out any packet messages....and
it is a station #1 problem as last nite when I gave up and put 9.27
back in the computers....I did #1 station first....and #2 was still
running in 9.46 mode......loaded up #1 and it not only worked fine on
#1 radio/station....now sending packet from #2 to #1 also works.....
a couple of checksum type errors but it all seemed to work....
Short of changing the #1 station computer does anyone have any
ideas as to why it works on one 486 and not on the other one??
In SSB type contests both computers are running Ken's DVP boards
and all functions work fine in later versions as well as in 9.27....but
the #2 station won't send packet problem is still there in everything
from 9.37-9.46........
