I believe the "reversed" a/b vfo spot problem may have something to do with when the op hits Alt F3 to announce the spot. I noticed that if I made the announce while transmitting to the dx station (while the normal a/b was flipped) the spot would come out reversed. And that would wreak havoc with the bandmap when the spot was posted.
