I agree with Ed.  This is all pretty moot.  The log checking process will not 
only take care of dupes (or non-dupes) with NO PENALTY, it will also take care 
of multipliers.  Of course, it'd be nice if the software did it correctly, but 
it shouldn't affect your score.
