Bob addressed most of the issues, I'll add to his post:

1) You can run the merge during the contest if you are 
quick.  Write a short batch file and you can get it 
done pretty quickly.  I agree that it shouldn't be 
necessary, but we all know about the best laid plans...

2) The bugs page for CT will not garner you a 
direct response, generally.  It's just a repository 
for bugs found or feature requests.  No sense 
repeatedly asking the same thing there.  That's 
exactly what this reflector is for.

3) Bob was too polite to say it, but please turn your 
CapsLock OFF. Text is hard to read that way.
