Don't know about XP pro but I'm using XP home and CW does not work with it.
I tried using a shareware program called direct-io which is supposed to fix
the problem, but it didn't. If you want to use CT, TR or other such
dos-based program with XP, you either need to boot from a floppy (make sure
you do NOT use NTFS on your hard disk if you're going to be doing that!), or
else set up a dual boot system with an earlier version of windows or with
DOS 6.22. If you do that, partition your hard drive first so that you have a
C and D drive, then install the older OS, and only then install XP. XP has
to be the last OS installed and cannot go on the same partition as Win9x or
DOS.
