Barry,
The Prism II cards are not supported with the NDIS driver. I am sorry if I
steered you in the wrong direction. Our current software supports these cards in
the Flashrom only. The 802.11b(AP+) feature of the flashrom would allow traffic
when Prism cards are utilized in the workstation, but NOT in TurboCell mode, only
native. The feature of our Client Manager allows for various profiles,
unfortunately Prism II in TC mode is not a possibility. We have tested and
reviewed the possibility, but it is not currently feasible. I will gladly
release any key generated for these(Prism) if you send the MAC addr. Sorry for
the confusion. RLM

We've gotten the
FlashROM ISP basestation working great (thanks!). We gotten the NDIS drivers
working just fine with Orinoco cards (thanks again!).
The Prism 200 mW
cards (with their native driver) work great under 802.11b but we can't get
them recognized by the Turbocell Client software.
I also created a
several profiles on my laptop to test (the Orinoco cards have their own
license key, the Prism it's own seperate license key for it's MAC
address).
The configuration
works fine with the Orinoco/Lucient under Turbocell and under 802.11b. When I
try to insert the Prism card the Turbocell Client Manager won't recognize
it.

I gave out some
misinformation last week. We have installed our first Turbocell ISP base
(FlashROM--to 300' tower with YDI amplifier and 12.4 dbi Comet Omni) and all
seems well. We've been testing both Orinoco and Prism 200 mW cards.
The Orinoco cards
work very well under both 802.11b and Turbocell modes.
The Prism cards
will perform very well to ISP base in 802.11b mode (using native Prism Wi-Fi
drivers). They are NOT recognized by Turbocell Client Manager at all, even
though Karlnet says they work.
I've tried
installing all software on a new machine with just Win98 SE with Prisim Card
Installed.
I've tried installing all software on a new machine
with just Win98 SE with Orinoco Card Installed and then swapping to the
Prism.
Anyone have any
suggestions?
