This kind of radios , works at 100mts with POE, all you need is a powerfull source power adaptor. at the limit 90-1mmmts you will need an power source adaptro with at last 20 volts and 2.5mA (3.2mA with an 1000mW Amp)i have this experience with arround 90 Links with this kind of radios in my country.

Hi:

I'm trying to feed a WPCPE+ using POE. Tha cable length
is 100 meters (the limit). How much should be the power source ?
20Volts ? Using 12 volts is not enough to turn on the CPE.

Thanks,
Helio.-

When using POE w/ the WPCPE+, does the ETH1 port just take the POE or do
you need to JUMP something to enable the POE function on port ETH1?

Also are 7/8 + and 4/5 -?

Whats the current status of the Ubicom software? Has anyone tried this
setup? Any results? Charles, you said you had some of these, but I don't
recall the pricing.

Customer's need CPEs, and WISPs need this low cost solution!

Isn't that 24volts though? Will that cook the unit?
