[Karlnet] NDIS Key confusion

I'm trying to enter the key for my NDIS client on my WinXP laptop, and the
client manager is asking for a key.   When I go to www.license-it.com , I'm
allowed to regenerate the key, and then download it as a file, *.lkf, which
doesn't do too much good when I need to enter the key in a field.   The last
time I did this was about two years ago (when I first installed the NDIS
client) and I just don't remember what the workaround was.
