And I would add to the excellent points Brad made by saying that I want to
play with this relatively new frequency on the backhaul as I think about how
to get better BW into the PtMP loop. Whatever I start playing with on the
backhaul might morph its way to the PtMP side, eventually.

I agree 100%.

Don't get me wrong, for customer PtMP access, I love Karlnet, and deploy
it where and when I can.

But as for my existing backhaul, it needs an upgrade in speed right now,
not 12 months from now.

Add to it that I'll also be expanding our service area in the very near
future, and consequently needing additional backhaul, Karlnet needs to do
it's best to get a certified release out sooner, rather than later if
they're going to retain anything resembling market share.

Heck, any release, even one with a documented list of "errata" (face it -
buggy releases has happened several times before with the *existing*
codebase!) would be better than nothing, and give the die-hard Karlnet
supporters something to test, beat on, and look ahead to.

Yes, I know there are FCC issues, compliance, and all of that (I deal with
it on a Part 15 level every single day at my "day job"), but you guys are
definitely at the back of the pack right now.

Backhaul is where it's at right now IMHO. The individual customer access
speeds are sufficient for virtually all needs right now, but the backhaul
definitely is not. And, having a single, homogeneous network that manages
the same and from a single point is most definitely a plus, but as was
said before, I'm not going to (actually, I simply can not) wait forever.
