When you say throttling at the CPE, are you setting it in the Interface
Setup fields? For the Ethernet, or the wireless interface? Was it
Turbocell, or were you trying to do it with 802.11?

We do all throttling on a per-MAC basis at our ISP Base (AP-1000).

I tried throttling on the CPE (rg-1000 w/ SR-4100) and it was a HUGE
failure. This was in the early 4.x code (probably 4.02 or something).
There was ZERO granularity in speeds, it was full speed or next to nothing.
I couldn't get a consistent 384/512/768 working at all.

Mikrotik works wonders.
