There are no ACK packets in Turbocell. Distance limit is question for somebody
from karlnet. Because turbocell is proprietary it is undocumented.

You have 2 port "Lucent bridge"  loaded with karlnet, so i am sure, that you do
not have AP2000 nor Awaya AP-3, because these are incompatible with karlnet
(Motorola processor based). Karlnet is compatible only with X86 and Ubicom
processor (KN50)
I made a misprint before. In AP1000 You have TWO 16bit slots. So, if You have
Orinoco AP2000 (AVAYA AP-3), You can't use turbocell. If You have Orinoco AP1000
(AVAYA AP-2), You ca not use 802.11bg nor 802.11a cards.
