I've always heard to set the AP and clients at 5.5 Mb as Karlnet doesn't
drop to lower speeds if conditions change like 802.11b. I've also always
done that.

However, as my clients can ALWAYS hear the ap better than the ap can hear
the clients....would it make any sense to set the AP at 11Mb and the client
at 5.5Mb? I was thinking possibly that the client would talk @ 5.5Mb and
the Ap would talk at 11Mb....making downloads faster than uploads?

Just a thought.

Thanks,
Bob
