Are the ydi amps hyperlinks? Why is it better to put the amp near the
antenna rather then near the base. Wouldnt there be less noise if it was
closer to the signal?

cost) then YDI hasn't done me wrong in 4 years.
After using a spectrum analyzer near a Hyperlink amp, I would say that they
are pretty good at bleeding over into adjacent channels.

I'm running YDI amps at the antennas and injecting power at the base
stations. I did have to get Polyphasers on the antenna leads that pass DC
through. So far so good after about 2 years.
