NEW NA RELEASE 10.13 NOW AVAILABLE
A new version of the NA contest logging program is now available
on the LTA BBS (412-528-8877) for VERSION 10 registered users.
This new version corrects a few problems and adds several new
features since the last release which was version 10.12. Most
importantly, this is the first release which will support the
upcoming W1BB Long Distance Challenge.
Problems Fixed:
* NA would halt while using a Master Callsign Database after doing
a SAVELOG. Fixed.
* Packet spots sent with Alt-F3 would not go out to a
PacketCluster using the G8BPQ driver. Also, packet text
from remote computers in a NA Network would not be sent
using when G8BPQ. Fixed.
* The date of an incoming spot was not always estimated correctly,
which caused spots at certain times of day not to appear.
Fixed.
New Features:
* Added support for the Stu Perry (W1BB) Long Distance Challenge
contest.
* Added breakdown of QSOs per multiplier to the .BRK file.
Also, the BREAKDOWN command now allows selecting which
breakdowns to print.
* Improved the PACKET SPOT FILTER CONTROL PANEL to make it
easier to use.
Also, added option to enable or disable sorting of received
packet spots.
* Spots may now be manually deleted from the
ANNOUNCEMENTS WINDOW.
Included in this release is the template file for the W1BB
Challenge (W1BB.TMP). A new TE.EXE (version 1.05) is included
which was required to select the 500 Km/point rule for this
contest. Please replace any older versions of TE.EXE with
the new 1.05. Also, there is a new version of the
NALOGRID.TMP template file (NA Logger w/Grids) - please
replace the older file.
