Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Feb 22 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and the visible disk remained spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low all three days (22-24 Feb).
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate to high levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels all three days (22-24 Feb).
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were nominal. Total field strength ranged between 1 and 7 nT. The Bz component was between 5 and -6 nT. Solar wind speed averaged near 400 km/s. The phi angle was predominantly negative.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is likely to undergo occasional enhancements over the next three days (22-24 Feb) due to the extension of the south polar, negative polarity CH HSS. Some periods of increased solar wind speed are also likely all three days.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled all three days (22-24 Feb).
