Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Aug 06 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and the solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low throughout the forecast period (06-08 Aug).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels each of the next three days (06-08 Aug). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected the weak influence of a negative polarity CH HSS.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to become slightly enhanced under the weak influence of a negative polarity CH HSS on day one (06 Aug). Another minor enhancement is expected on days two and three (07-08 Aug) due to the anticipated influence of a positive CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on day one (06 Aug) due to negative polarity CH HSS influence. By day two through day three (07-08 Aug), quiet to unsettled levels, with isolated active intervals, are anticipated due to positive polarity CH HSS influence.
