Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Aug 09 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The visible disk was spotless. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 9-11 Aug.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 9-11 Aug and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected background conditions. Wind speed was below 425 km/s and phi angle was positive.

Forecast: An enhancement is expected on days two and three (10-11 Aug) in response to CIR activity in advance of a recurrent, negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain mostly quiet for the remainder of day one (9 Aug). Days two and three (10-11 Aug) are expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels, with active conditions likely on day three, in response to negative polarity CH HSS influence.
