Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Aug 10 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless disk. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 10-12 Aug.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal levels on 10-12 Aug while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a nominal environment.

Forecast: A nominal solar wind environment is expected to persist for days one and two (10-11 Aug). An enhancement is expected early on day one (12 Aug) in response to a CIR in advance of a recurrent, equatorial, negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain quiet for the next two days (10-11 Aug). By day three (12 Aug), quiet to unsettled levels are likely in response to negative polarity CH HSS influence.
