Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Dec 22 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 22-24 Dec.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels this period and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal and moderate levels on 22-24 Dec and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at background levels.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to become slightly enhanced on 24 Dec due to the weak influence of a CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: Quiet conditions were observed this period.

Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected to prevail on 22-23 Dec with quiet to unsettled conditions likely on 24 Dec due to the influence of a CH HSS.
