Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Aug 02 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low on 02-04 Aug.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 02-04 Aug as a result of CH HSS activity.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background values.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of a negative polarity CH HSS. Winds declined to below 500 km/s, ending the period near 445 km/s. Total field ranged between 2-4 nT while the Bz component varied between +4 to -3 nT. The phi angle was predominantly in a negative orientation.

Forecast: A gradual return to background levels is anticipated by 02 Aug through late on 04 Aug. Late on 04 Aug, an equatorial, positive polarity CH HSS is anticipated to enhance solar wind parameters.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was generally at quiet levels with an isolated unsettled period.

Forecast: Mostly quiet conditions are expected for 02-04 Aug with unsettled intervals possible late on 04 Aug due to positive polarity CH HSS influence.
