Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Aug 08 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low 08-10 Aug.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at high levels, with a maximum flux of 26,161 pfu. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue reaching high levels 08-10 Aug due to CH HSS effects. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of a return to nominal levels for most of the period. Near 08/1130 UTC, an enhancement in the solar wind and phi change were observed-possibly associated with a SSBC. Solar wind speed slowly decreased from ~500 km/s to 425 km/s, then increased to near 550 km/s late in the period. Total field ranged from 3 to 5 nT, while the Bz component underwent only weak deviations. The phi angle was predominantly positive until 08/1119 UTC, when a switch to a negative orientation was observed.

Forecast: Conditions are expected to remain at ambient levels on 08-10 Aug. There is a chance for an enhancement on 10 Aug due to an isolated, negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be primarily quiet 08-10 Aug, with a chance for an isolated period of unsettled conditions early on 08 Aug and again later on 10 Aug due to minor CH HSS effects.
