Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Aug 26 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at very low levels. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 26-28 Aug.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 26-28 Aug. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels. Solar wind speed ranged from approximately 300-355 km/s. Total field ranged from 2-6 nT while the Bz component was between +4/-5 nT. Phi angle was negative until 26/0248 UTC and was variable thereafter.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to become enhanced late on 26 Aug in response to the onset of a negative polarity CH HSS. Solar wind speed enhancements are expected to continue through 27 Aug and wane over 28 Aug.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to reach unsettled to active conditions late on 26 Aug in response to the onset of influence from a CH HSS. Active conditions are expected to continue through 27 Aug and decrease to unsettled levels on 28 Aug as influence from the CH HSS wanes.
