Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Jan 25 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. New Region 2757 (N03E20, Axx/alpha) produced weak B-class activity during the period. B-class activity was also observed from behind the E limb near S30. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels on 25-27 Jan.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was below alert threshold values, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron is expected to be at normal to moderate levels through 27 Jan. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels with solar wind speed between 295-340 km/s. Total field ranged from 2-6 nT while the Bz component varied between +/-4 nT. Phi angle was variable throughout the period.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at nominal levels on 25-27 Jan.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet levels for the next three days (25-27 Jan).
