Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2757 (N04E05, Cro/beta) exhibited growth in both area and spot count, but remained quiet. Enhanced plage, with possible spot development, was observed on the E limb near S30. Limb proximity made accurate analysis difficult. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels on 26-28 Jan with a slight chance for C-class activity due to the growth in Region 2757.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was below alert threshold values, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron is expected to be at normal to moderate levels through 28 Jan. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels through the period.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at nominal levels on 26-28 Jan.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on 26-28 Jan.
