Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Feb 11 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low and the visible disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low 11-13 Feb.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels early in the period. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate to high levels 11-13 Feb due to CH HSS influences. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of an SSBC and weak CH HSS influences. Total IMF strength was primarily 3 to 6 nT and the Bz component underwent mainly weak deviations. Solar wind speed was predominantly 375-400 km/s until near 11/0000 UTC, when it increased to 425-450 km/s. The phi angle switched from a negative to a positive sector about 10/1748 UTC.
Forecast: Minor solar wind enhancements are expected to continue 11-12 Feb due to positive polarity CH HSS effects. A return to nominal conditions is anticipated by 13 Feb.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled, with a likely period of active conditions due to CH HSS effects on 11 Feb. Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected by 12 Feb, with a return to mostly quiet conditions on 13 Feb.
