Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Jul 15 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained at very low levels under a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were detected.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 15-17 Jul.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.

Forecast: Both the greater than 2 MeV electron and 10 MeV proton fluxes are expected to remain below event thresholds over 15-17 Jul.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters continued to indicate weak influence from the 08 Jul CME in addition to a recurrent, positive polarity CH HSS. Solar wind speeds were variable between 333-417 km/s. Total field ranged between 2-8 nT, while the Bz component was mostly north to about 3 nT with a few brief incursions to -5 nT. The phi angle was in a predominately positive orientation.

Forecast: A return to a more nominal environment is anticipated through the remainder of 15 Jul through 17 Jul.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels under waning transient effects.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet levels through 17 Jul with isolated unsettled intervals possible late on 15 Jul.
