Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jan 30 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 30-31 Jan and 01 Feb.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 3,848 pfu. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 30-31 Jan and 01 Feb. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected background conditions.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at near background levels 30-31 Jan. An enhanced solar wind environment is likely on 01 Feb as a recurrent, negative polarity CH HSS becomes geoeffective.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet for the remainder of 30-31 Jan as ambient conditions prevail. G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels are likely on 01 Feb in response to recurrent, negative polarity CH HSS influence.
