Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Mar 19 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2810 (N18E33, Hrx/alpha) was stable and quiet throughout the period. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low over 19-21 Mar.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 1,500 pfu observed at 18/1635 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels for the remainder of 19 Mar through 20 Mar. High flux levels are likely to return on 21 Mar. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a background solar wind environment. Solar wind speeds remained below 350 km/s throughout the period. Total field strength was steady near 5 nT and Bz varied between +/- 4 nT.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to become enhanced late on 19 Mar through 21 Mar due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
Forecast: Active conditions are expected on 19 Mar, with G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm periods likely on 21-22 Mar, due to negative polarity CH HSS influence.
