Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 May 07 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low. A region of flux was observed rotating around the NE limb. It will be assigned an active region number if it persists. No Earth-directed CMEs observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low on 07-09 May.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate 07-09 May and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength was between 4-7 nT. No significant periods of southward Bz were observed. Solar wind speeds varied between 285-335 km/s. Phi angle was oriented in the positive sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are likely to remain nominal over 07-08 May. A weak enhancement from interaction with a negative polarity CH HSS is possible on 09 May.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet, with isolated unsettled periods possible on 07-09 May.
