Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jun 12 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2832 (N14W33, Bxo/beta) was in decay. No discernable CME activity was noted in GOES/SUVI 171, 195, or 304 imagery.
Satellite coronagraph imagery is not available as NASA servers are down on 12-13 Jun due to infrastructure maintenance.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 12-14 Jun.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate on 12-14 Jun and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were weakly enhanced. Total field ranged from 2-9 nT while the Bz component was between +6/-8 nT. Solar wind speed ranged from 323-359 km/s. Phi angle was oriented in a negative sector.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be weakly enhanced through the rest of 12 Jun. A return to nominal levels is expected on 13-14 Jun.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to active due to a prolonged period of southward Bz.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on 12 Jun. Mostly quiet conditions are expected on 13-14 Jun.
