Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jun 13 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. New Region 2833 (N26E71, Hsx/alpha) was numbered today. No CMEs were determined to be Earth-directed with available imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 13-15 Jun.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate on 13-15 Jun and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were slightly enhanced over the period due to the onset of a positive polarity CH HSS. Total field ranged from 1-9 nT while the Bz component was between +8/-7 nT. Solar wind speed increased from approximately 350 km/s to a maximum near 500 km/s. Phi angle was oriented in a positive solar sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be slightly enhanced through 14 Jun as positive polarity CH HSS influence slowly diminishes. Approximately mid to late on 15 Jun, solar wind parameters are expected to become enhanced again due to the onset of a negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled on 13-14 Jun due to positive polarity CH HSS activity. An increase to unsettled to active levels is expected on 15 Jun due to the anticipated onset of a negative polarity CH HSS.
