Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Sep 06 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with B-class flare activity. Regions 2863 (S16W16, Cso/beta), 2864 (N24W12, Dao/beta), 2866 (S17E42, Dai/beta), and 2868 (S21E27, Dso/beta) were quiet and stable throughout the period. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low, with C-class flares likely, over 06-08 Sep.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 2,030 pfu observed at 05/1430 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 06-08 Sep, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected background conditions.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to become slightly enhanced on 06 Sep due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Background solar wind conditions are expected on 07-08 Sep.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels.
Forecast: Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected on 06 Sep due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Mostly quiet conditions are expected to prevail over 07-08 Sep.
