Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Nov 08 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity reached low levels due to a pair of C1 flares at 08/0751 and 08/0930 UTC from newly numbered Region 2895 (N25E55). Although initially classified as a Bxo/beta group, the region has shown growth since its inception. Slight decay was observed in the trailing spots of Region 2894 (S27E35, Cso/beta) while Region 2893 (N17W28, Hsx/alpha) was quiet. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low to low levels due to potential C-class flaring from Regions 2894 and 2895.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 1,940 pfu observed at 07/1545 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 08-09 Nov. The greater than 10 proton flux is expected to remain near background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind conditions declined to nominal levels over the period. Solar wind speed decreased from approximately 490 km/s to near 400 km/s. Total field ranged from 3-5 nT while the Bz component was between +4/-1 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a negative sector.
Forecast: Nominal solar wind conditions are expected on 08-10 Nov.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on 08-10 Nov.
