Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Nov 09 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at low levels. Region 2895 (N26E37, Dso/beta) produced two C1 flares early in the day. Region 2894 (S26E16, Hsx/alpha) lost its trailing spots and became unipolar. Region 2893 (N16W48, Hsx/alpha) remained inactive. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels, with a chance for C-class flares on 09-11 Nov, mainly due to the flaring potential of Regions 2894 and 2895.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 3319 pfu observed at 07/1850 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 09-11 Nov. The greater than 10 proton flux is expected to remain near background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment was at or near background levels. Total field strength peaked at 6 nT. Bz, while variable, did not exceed the bounds of +/- 5 nT. Wind speed averaged around 390 km/s. The phi angle began to flip from negative to positive about midday.
Forecast: A background solar wind regime is expected to persist on 09-11 Nov.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet, with a chance for isolated unsettled periods, on 09-11 Nov.
