Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2022 Oct 28 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was low. Isolated, low-level C-flare activity was observed from Region 3130 (S25W51, Dai/beta) and from Region 3126 (S09, L=233), now beyond the west limb. Minor growth was observed in Regions 3130 and 3133 (N26E40, Dao/beta), and new Region 3134 (N12E21, Bxo/beta) was numbered this period. No Earth-directed CMEs were detected.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for isolated C-class flare activity over 28-30 Oct.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 28-30 Oct and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Nominal solar wind conditions prevailed throughout the period. Total field strength values ranged between 2-10 nT and Bz varied between +6/-7 nT. Solar wind speed values were between 350-475 km/s throughout the period.
Forecast: Positive polarity CH HSS effects and an enhanced solar wind environment are expected over 29-30 Oct.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
Forecast: Quiet to active levels are predicted on 28 Oct. Minor geomagnetic storms are likely on 29-30 Oct due to positive polarity CH HSS influences.
