Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2022 Nov 27 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Minor growth was observed in Regions 3151 (S15W52, Cao/beta) and 3152 (N26E16, Dao/beta), while the remaining regions were stable or in decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were detected.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low over 27-29 Nov.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 27-29 Nov and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment was slightly enhanced this period due primarily to positive polarity CH HSS influence. Total field strength ranged between 1-11 nT and Bz varied between +7/-7 nT. Solar wind speed peaked around 600 km/s between 26/1800-2000 UTC then gradually declined to ~450 km/s by the periods end. Phi angle was positive.

Forecast: An enhanced solar wind environment is expected to prevail over 27-29 Nov, due mainly to positive polarity CH HSS influences.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: Active conditions are expected on 27 Nov due to the influence of a positive polarity CH HSS and possible CME effects. Quiet to unsettled levels are expected on 28 Nov. Active conditions are expected again on 29 Nov due to another positive polarity CH HSS.
