I would get back to her office, explaining that her staff may have misread your
original email.
I wonder if this is time for a handwritten postal letter. I have been told
those are rather effective, if the penmanship is readable, anyway. :-)

the recommended ARRL letter on BPL. FYI, here
is her response. Looks like they see "broadband"
and issue this standard spiel. Notice the extra
"A" prepended to "Broadband". Kind of makes you
wonder if these letters have any effect at all.
